Student success
We prepare our students to approach their future with the confidence and skills to succeed and meet the demands of a changing world.
Some of our former students share stories about their achievements:
Name:
Joe Davidson
School attended before College:
Sandhurst School
Subjects taken:
A level chemistry, A level biology, maths, A level further maths
What have you gone on to do after College, how did Farnborough help you get there?:
After leaving college, I have begun studying for a medicine degree at Oxford University (New College). I was supported with all aspects of the application process by both my peers, for example with talks about applying to Oxbridge and Russell Group universities at Medicine Society, and Tutors, having had practice interviews with subject-specific teachers. Also, I felt supported by the tutorial system from regular meetings with my Tutor about my progress, both academically and in terms of the UCAS process.
Name:
Molly McGuinness
School attended before College:
The Emmbrook School
Subjects taken:
Diploma in Digital Media (double), A level film studies
What have you gone on to do after College, how did Farnborough help you get there?:
The help and support, both academic and personal, from the Media and Film department was fantastic throughout my time at College. They provided extracurricular opportunities like F6 Productions which gave me the chance to work with real clients and supported me in developing my professional portfolio. These experiences gave me the confidence to create my own production company, Molly McGuinness Media.
